Please read these terms carefully before using NovoLearn. By using the platform you accept these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing NovoLearn ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users — students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
2. Platform Use
NovoLearn is an online tuition platform providing live classes, recorded materials, quizzes, assignments, and progress tracking. Access is role-based: Admin, Teacher, Student, or Parent. You must be 13 years or older to create an account independently. Users under 13 require a parent or guardian to register on their behalf.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at contact.novalearn@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. NovoLearn is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) share your account with others; (b) upload harmful, abusive, or illegal content; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform; (d) use the platform for any commercial purpose outside the scope of your enrollment; (e) record or redistribute class sessions without explicit consent from all participants.
5. Fees & Payments
Certain services require payment of tuition fees as configured by your organization's admin. Fees are processed via Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. NovoLearn does not store card details. Refund policies are set per organization — please contact your admin for refund requests. Transaction fees charged by Stripe are non-refundable.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
All content uploaded to NovoLearn (notes, assignments, quizzes, recordings) remains the intellectual property of the uploader. By uploading content, you grant NovoLearn a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform. NovoLearn's branding, design, and software are the exclusive property of NovoLearn.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect and process data as described therein.
8. Service Availability
NovoLearn aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
9. Termination
NovoLearn reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice in serious cases. Admins may suspend user accounts within their organization. Users may delete their accounts by contacting support.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NovoLearn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 3 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Thrissur, Kerala, India.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app announcement.
